

Plantation Rum 2010 Venezuela is a vintage from Ferrand's "under The Sea" collection. Made from molasses distilled in a column still, it has benefited from 8 years of aging in tropical climates in bourbon casks then 4 years of aging in cognac barrels. it is a very aromatic balanced rum with exotic fruits.
Nose: Delicate and rich. Nutmeg, honey, vanilla, tangerine, coconut, walnuts and Brazil coffee, with light floral notes.
Palate: Spicy and woody profile with notes of peanuts, tobacco, almond, oak, pepper with crème brûlée, pineapple and dried banana.
Finish: Long and dry on hazelnut, leather, mango, orange, banana and cloves.
The rums in the Plantation range come from the best distilleries in the Caribbean (Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama or Trinidad). The Plantation rum collection is divided into two distinct ranges: blends and vintages. The blends are assemblies refined by the cellar master of the Ferrand house. The vintages, whose tastes are different from one vintage to another, come directly from the cask and are available in limited quantities.
