PERE LABAT

Located on the island of Marie-Galante since 1863 in Grand Bourg, the small Poisson distillery produces a highly renowned agricultural rum. It's named Père Labat in tribute to a missionary monk known not only for chronicling his adventures in the Caribbean in the 18th century but also for improving the functioning of the stills used during that time.
