Tullamore Dew
TULLAMORE DEW
Tullamore is a whiskey distillery founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy. After his death, the distillery was acquired by the Daly family and managed by Captain Bernard Daly. Daniel E. Williams succeeded Daly as general manager in 1887 and wrote his initials, D.E.W. It closed its doors in 1954 before being purchased by John Powers 20 years later. Tullamore Dew is now the second best-selling Irish whiskey in the world.
