HSE Grande Réserve XO is an exceptional agricultural rum produced by the HSE distillery (Habitation Saint-Etienne) located in Martinique, a Caribbean island renowned for its high-quality rums. It is a rum crafted from the skillful blending of aged reserves, ranging from 6 to 8 years old, then matured in oak barrels, enhanced by the addition of the 1960 Grande Réserve.
HSE Grande Réserve XO is distinguished by its artisanal craftsmanship, meticulous aging process, and use of high-quality sugarcane, offering a rich and memorable tasting experience.
Nose: Gourmet, balanced, harmonious with aromas of orange, pepper and vanilla.
Mouth: Nice sweetness giving way to vanilla and spices.
Finish: Very nice length, with a rather tannic and woody side.
Awards: silver medal at the general agricultural competition in Paris and at the world competition in Brussels in 2007.
