A1710 La Perle Brute 2018 66°
La Perle Brute 66° "Cannes de Monsieurs Paul Octave" is an agricultural white rum, its name honours Mr. Octave for the quality of his work. This rum comes from a distillation without reduction, in a copper still called "La Belle Aline". Anxious to promote the cultivation of sugar cane, the A1710 brand wished to highlight the value of Martinique know-how.
Nose : Subtle with fruity, spicy and peppery notes.
Palate : Soft with notes of mango, hazelnut and sugar cane.
Finish : Great aromatic power and good balance.
A1710 is a relatively new distillery on the island of Martinique in the commune of François. In 2010, Yves Assier de Pompignan, encouraged by his father (founder of the Technical Center for Cane and Sugar, Martinique), embarked on the construction of a white rum distillery. What drives the A1710 distillery is the search for authenticity. They remain faithful to Martinique’s sugar and rum history, by highlighting all the nobility of manual labour.
In 2016, A1710 rums obtained their ECOCERT certificate.
