Nose: Delicate and refined, revealing deep aromas of apricot, exotic fruits (mango, persimmon), and flowers (lavender, mauve lilac). Upon aeration, these same fruits transform into candied flavors, accompanied by chocolate, toffee, and dried fruits (date, almond).

Appearance: An orange-copper hue.

Palate: Lively and elegant, marked by initial notes of vanilla, followed by sugarcane flavors. Subtle spices (cinnamon, ginger) bring vibrancy, and the mid-palate is adorned with citrus zest (orange, clementine).

Finish: A long and silky finish begins with a gentle dusting of cocoa powder.

THE BRAND

JM is a distillery located in Martinique, at the foot of Mount Pelee in Macouba in the north of the island, within the Bellevue estate. It was created in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin and has been using the name of its founder for rum since 1919.

The JM distillery is one of the few rum distilleries to possess the AOC Rhum Agricole de Martinique due to the origin of the cane, the absence of molasses and the duration of its aging. It is also a wish of the distillery to continue its know-how, the exceptional quality of the rum and the artisanal production.
