Brugal 1888 is a molasses rum from the Dominican Republic, produced by the Brugal family for 5 generations using local sugar cane. Their rums are aged for 6 to 8 years in barrels that have contained bourbon, then undergo a second maturation in Olorolo Sherry barrels from Europe. This tropical aged rum produces a warm aromatic profile with woody notes, cocoa and red fruits, displaying all the 130 years expertise of the Brugal family.
