CARONI

Caroni is an iconic rum distillery located in Trinidad and Tobago, founded in 1923. It was established to produce quality rum for export. The distillery quickly became renowned for its powerful and complex rums, notably due to traditional methods and pot stills.
However, in 2003, the distillery closed its doors, leaving behind a legacy of exceptional aged rums. The remaining stocks were bottled by various independent bottlers, which helped strengthen Caroni's reputation among rum enthusiasts. Today, Caroni is celebrated for its unique expressions, often sought after for their rich character and complexity, representing an important chapter in the history of Caribbean rum.
