CLAIRIN Casimir 2021 51,5%
The CLAIRIN 2021 Casimir rum is a passionate creation by Faubert Casimir, inherited from his father Duncan, who embarked on this adventure in 1979. In the lands of Barradères, Haiti, Faubert carefully cultivates 50 hectares of white and red Hawaii sugarcane, using non-hybrid varieties known for their sweetness. Each stalk is patiently harvested at full maturity, ensuring exceptional quality.
The result is a Clairin rum that beautifully oscillates between classicism and uninhibited exuberance, offering a truly unique tasting experience. Immerse yourself in the rich and authentic world of this artisanal rum, a true reflection of Haitian craftsmanship and its exceptional terroir.
Nose: rich and opulent, revealing powerful aromas of sugarcane juice, licorice, and spices, enhanced by a hint of lemongrass.
Palate: refined and mineral, offering a development of spicy flavors, notably ginger.
Finish: menthol-like, even medicinal note that lingers in harmony with the presence of spices such as cinnamon, and hints of almonds that complement this gustatory experience.
THE BRAND
Clairin is the name given to rum in Haiti. It is produced only by artisanal distilleries, from natural sugar cane. The production is totally artisanal and everything is done by hand. With a spontaneous fermentation of the cane juice, and naked heating, they are bottled at the natural degree.
The "Clairins" are the only natural rums in the world and offer surprising and very expressive unexplored aromas.
