La Favorite Brut 2 Colonnes Récolte 2022
This La Favorite column crude is an agricultural white rum from a distillation of two Creole columns, one of which is copper and has been in operation since 1957 and the other more modern dating from 1986.
The 2022 Harvest, produced in 5000 copies and sealed with wax, is here honored, in a bottle illustrated by Lucas Vallerie, a Martinique artist, where is represented on the label the mechanism that allows the grinding of canes, with its many toothed wheels.
Labeled AOC Martinique, this agricultural rum reveals aromas of great intensity; cane in particular is offered in all its magnitude.
Nose: Sweet notes of fresh canes.
Palate: Lively and gourmet attack with citrus and cane sugar flavours.
Finish: Long and rich with subtle floral and vegetal notes.
THE BRAND
The Habitation La Favorite was founded in 1842 as a sugar production site. In 1905, the estate was bought by the Dormoy family, and today the third generation perpetuates this beautiful family adventure. The Favorite is today one of the few independent distilleries present in the West Indies.
