Flatnose is a Scottish whisky brand founded by Donald MacKenzie and MacKay Smith, the creators of The Islay Boys. Originally from Port Charlotte on the Isle of Islay, they traveled the world before returning to their homeland, driven by the desire to leave a distinctive mark on this legendary island. Inspired by the region's Viking mythology, they named their whisky after Ketill Flatnöse, a 9th-century warrior king. With authentic craftsmanship and a deep connection to local history, Flatnose embodies the spirit of Islay while offering exceptional whiskies.
