YAMAZAKI Mizunara 18 ans 100th Anniversary Edition 48,6%
This Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara Single Malt is made from meticulously selected malt whiskeys, all aged for a minimum of 18 years in Mizunara casks. The resulting blend showcases the rare and distinctive beauty of Mizunara oak, which is considered Yamazaki's signature "raiser", bringing character and elegance unique to Japan. As a tribute to its namesake, it is made at Japan's first and oldest malt distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding house of Japanese whiskey, we recall a whiskey created to suit the delicate palate of the Japanese.
Nose: Rich and elegant notes of black cherry and ripe peach, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Subtly spicy with notes of Japanese incense.
Finish: Long and persistent, notes of clove, sandalwood and dried coconut.
