Cragganmore Single Malt is a limited edition natural raw cask single malt distilled at the Classic Malts Speyside distillery in Cragganmore. For this sixth release of Cragganmore, three types of casks were selected solely for their flavor: both refilled and rejuvenated American oak casks and ex-bodega European oak butts. Beautifully structured and contemplative, with a soft, sweet nose, this Cragganmore is charming and welcoming throughout as it fully displays the dry character of the distillery; it has a palate of compelling intensity that gradually dries in a clever interplay between oak and malt to a long, warm finish.

Nose: Warm, fresh with its notes of beeswax, orange zest, dried grass, fine paste.
Palate: Creamy, unctuous with a rich and sweet taste, deliciously balanced by a touch of cocoa and licorice on the palate.
Finish: Long and persistent, subtle smoke and spice notes, fresh fruit compote, then mint and herbs. Superb..
Cragganmore is one of the few Scottish distilleries whose spring water has a hard mineral character (limestone). It uses very flat stills whose swan necks are bent in the shape of a T. These two elements combined explain in large part the subtle and very aromatic character of this single malt. Complex, the Cragganmore single malt evolves between sweetness and dryness.
The Cragganmore distillery, founded in 1869 by John Smith, is located in the village of Ballindaloch in Scotland. Its strategic location was chosen due to the proximity of the Craggan spring, known for its highly mineral water, essential for whisky production. Additionally, Smith constructed a railway to facilitate the transport of coal and casks, greatly contributing to the efficiency of the distillation process.
In 1965, Cragganmore joined the Distillers Company Limited, now known as Diageo, further strengthening its position in the global market. Known for its complex and balanced single malt, Cragganmore is cherished by whisky enthusiasts for its fruity and spicy aromas, perfectly representing the character of Speyside.
