Black Mountain N°2 Premium is made from young blended whiskies distilled in the United Kingdom, then refined at Black Mountain in France. Maturing for 6 months in Armagnac barrels, after a reduction with water from the Black Mountains. This whisky has won numerous international awards.
Nose : Soft and delicate, with the freshness of citrus, notes of pastry, lemon with a sweet touch of vanilla.
Palate : Intense and rich, on fruits then hot spices, wood.
Finish : Long and warm with pastry aromas, woody and liquorice notes.
The Black Mountain brand began in 2011, creating award-winning blended whiskies which then inspired the plans for a distillery on the borders of the Black Mountain in the Haut Languedoc regional natural park. During the construction of this distillery, they continue to assemble their imported blended whiskies, adjusting them with black mountain water, and refining in hand selecting barrels on site.
