Michel Couvreur's "The Unique" is a blended grain whisky distilled in Coffey stills and aged for 4 years in used oak barrels. It has been reduced to 44% alcohol using water from the Pentland Hills. Scottish whiskies are meticulously matured before being bottled at his cellar in Bouze-lès-Beaune, Burgundy.
Nose: Subtle aromas of dried fruits and honey, accompanied by lightly spicy notes of oak and vanilla.
Palate: Creamy texture with flavors of ripe fruits, buttery caramel, and a delicate hint of black pepper.
Finish: Sweet and lingering, characterized by toasted oak and candied fruits nuances, leaving a pleasant warmth.

Michel Couvreur, a Belgian enthusiast of fine wines, ventured into the world of whisky in the 1960s. He is renowned for his unique aging method using Spanish sherry casks stored in Burgundy cellars. His philosophy emphasized the importance of the cask in developing aromas. After his passing in 2013, his family and team have continued to uphold his craftsmanship.
