The Knockando Distillery was established in 1898 by John Thomson and is located near the River Spey, Scotland. It is known for producing a classic single malt with conical shaped stills for the first distillation and spherical shaped stills for the second distillation. Knockando whiskies are always bottled in vintage editions. Knockando means "little black hill" in Scottish Gaelic.
