The nose opens with layers of peat smoke intertwined with dark fruits, raisins, walnuts and dark chocolate. Rich notes of dried figs, candied orange peel and warming spices emerge, revealing the depth imparted by the Oloroso cask. On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and oily, delivering flavours of cocoa, dried fruits, caramel, roasted nuts and sweet wood smoke. The peat remains refined and well-integrated, complementing the richness of the sherry maturation without overpowering it.
