Kilchoman Rockside 11 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the concept of a "Single Farm Single Malt", with every stage of production carried out at Rockside Farm, from barley cultivation through to bottling. Crafted from estate-grown barley, lightly peated to 20 ppm and matured for 11 years in a combination of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, this whisky offers a true expression of its origin.
Rockside 11 Year Old perfectly embodies the Kilchoman house style, delivering refined and well-balanced peat smoke that is less medicinal than many traditional Islay whiskies. Rich notes of fruit and gentle spices add depth and complexity, making it equally appealing to seasoned peat lovers and those seeking a more approachable, terroir-driven Islay single malt.

Nose: An expressive bouquet combining fresh orange and lemon zest with delicate notes of elderflower and honey, enhanced by an elegant peaty smoke with distinct maritime nuances.
Palate: A generous opening of ripe citrus fruits and tropical notes, evolving into indulgent flavors of barley sugar, caramelized apple, and salted butter caramel, all supported by a subtle and refined peat character.
Finish: Long and harmonious, revealing rich notes of caramel and butterscotch, complemented by walnuts, lingering citrus fruits, and stone fruits, before gently fading into a delicate salty smoke.
KILCHOMAN was founded by Anthony Wills in June 2005. For over 124 years, no new distillery had been established on the island of Islay, on the west coast of Scotland. Supplied by the Port Ellen maltings, it now strives to grow around 20% of its barley on its own land. Although it is certainly one of the smallest distilleries on the island, KILCHOMAN already enjoys a prestigious maturity.
