This authentic clairin is produced by distiller Bethel Romulus in Pignon, a commune in Haiti. During production, 30% of vinasses from previous distillations are added to the sugarcane syrup during fermentation, giving the clairin a unique aromatic richness. The distillation is then carried out in a traditional artisanal pot still using a batch (discontinuous) process.
Bottled without any dilution, this raw clairin preserves all its power and original expression for an intense tasting experience typical of Haitian terroir.
