Aged between 9 and 18 years in American oak barrels (both new and ex-bourbon), these carefully selected vintages were blended and bottled at 45.7% ABV to preserve their full aromatic richness
Under the guidance of Cellar Master Karine Lassalle, six prestigious vintages were chosen to create this limited edition:
2004 – 18 years, aged in new American oak barrel #5: 10.6% of the blend
2006 – 17 years, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrel: 10.3%
2010 – 13 years, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrel: 10.7%
2011 – 12 years, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrel: 23.6%
2013 – 10 years, aged in new American oak barrel #4: 35.4%
2014 – 9 years, aged in new American oak barrel #5: 9.4%

Nose: Intense and expressive, it immediately reveals rich aromas of prune and fig, subtly enhanced by roasted coffee notes. In the background, there are pastry-like hints of candied fruits, sweet vanilla, and elegant licorice.
Palate: The initial attack is powerful with a beautiful amplitude. The profile is harmonious, striking a delicate balance between dried fruits, spices (notably nutmeg and candied ginger), and a gourmand bitterness of cocoa.
Finish: Long and silky, it lingers pleasantly with warm spices and indulgent accents, leaving a persistent and refined impression.
THE BRAND
JM is a distillery located in Martinique, at the foot of Mount Pelee in Macouba in the north of the island, within the Bellevue estate. It was created in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin and has been using the name of its founder for rum since 1919.
The JM distillery is one of the few rum distilleries to possess the AOC Rhum Agricole de Martinique due to the origin of the cane, the absence of molasses and the duration of its aging. It is also a wish of the distillery to continue its know-how, the exceptional quality of the rum and the artisanal production.
