KAVALAN Solist Sherry Cask 59,4%
Kavalan Solist Sherry Cask, aged in Oloroso sherry barrels, is bottled without colouring or cold filtration to preserve all its aromatic and gustatory qualities. The water used to make this single malt is taken from the springs of the Hsuehshan mountain, commonly called "Snow Mountain", giving the whisky a soft and creamy feeling in the mouth. A 6-year-old Single Malt with a Speyside maturity of over 40 years, aged in a sub-tropical climate that accelerates its aging.
Kavalan Solist Sherry Cask has won several awards in the biggest competitions and was voted best Single Malt of the rest of the World at the Whisky World Awards in 2011. Case according to available bottles.

Owned by the King Car Group, the first Taiwanese distillery opened in 2002 in the province of Yi-Lan, northeast of Taiwan. She knew how to surround herself with the best experts to release a whisky with an inimitable style.
The fruity, floral, fresh and subtly spicy profile of its single malt, Kavalan owes it to the use of smoke-free malted barley from Scotland, as well as a particularly short cup of hearth. Ian Chang, master assembler of the distillery, captures in the distillate the purest aromas that make Kavalan a great signature, between richness and elegance.
