Jura 12 Years Old Sherry Cask Oloroso is a Scotch single malt whisky crafted on the Isle of Jura, located off the west coast of Scotland. Aged for 12 years, it reveals a rich and balanced profile shaped by the generous influence of Oloroso sherry casks.
Made from both peated and unpeated spirits, this whisky is initially matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks. It then undergoes an additional finishing period in carefully selected casks that previously held aged Oloroso Sherry, bringing added depth, richness, and indulgence.
The result is an expressive aromatic profile combining caramel, dried fruits, roasted hazelnuts, and sweet spices, enhanced by woody and chocolatey notes.
