Naguelann Single Malt 40° is a French artisanal whisky produced in Brittany. It stands out for its strong local identity and independent approach. This whisky is made from malted barley, often of French origin, and local Breton water. It is traditionally distilled, usually in a pot still, which contributes to its authentic character.
Naguelann Single Malt 40° is aged in different types of casks, enhancing its aromatic complexity. These may include new oak casks or casks that previously held other spirits, as well as more unusual casks that have contained wine or other beverages.
On the nose, this whisky is fruity with notes of cereals, sometimes accompanied by hints of honey and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced, with woody, slightly spicy, and subtly sweet flavors. The finish is elegant, medium in length, and leaves a warm sensation.

The Breton whisky brand Naguelann was born from the imagination of Lenaïck Lemaître in 2014 in Languenan, in the Côtes-d’Armor region. He blends, matures, and distills carefully selected ingredients, creating a true signature style.
Benefiting from spring water from Plancoët—once marketed under the name Nazareth—as well as two stills (a wash still and a spirit still), French barley, and a humid warehouse, all the conditions are in place to produce a whisky of great precision and excellent quality.
Already recognized for its expressions Mesk, Grand’Pa, and Koazh, the brand continues to grow in reputation. There is little doubt that the Diel series will also achieve great success.
