Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a limited edition from the Glengyle distillery, located in the heart of Campbeltown, one of Scotland’s most iconic whisky regions. Aged entirely in bourbon casks, this single malt benefits from a maturation that highlights soft vanilla notes, bright citrus and the richness of the malt.
Non–chill filtered and bottled at cask strength (55.60%), it retains its full aromatic intensity as well as the natural texture of the distillate. Produced through traditional double distillation, it reveals a lightly peated profile enhanced by saline touches characteristic of Campbeltown.
An authentic, powerful whisky that perfectly represents Glengyle’s expertise, ideal for enthusiasts of single malts with character.

The Glengyle distillery is an independent family-owned business located in Campbeltown. It produced whisky from 1872 to 1925, before closing for 79 years. In 2004, Mitchell’s Glengyle Ltd revived the distillery, bringing the ancestral legacy back to life. The name Kilkerran comes from the Gaelic "Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain," referring to the original settlement where Saint Kieran established his religious cell.
Today, Glengyle produces a range of Kilkerran Single Malt whiskies, all naturally colored and non-chill filtered. Every step of production takes place in Campbeltown, where the fresh water comes from Crosshill Loch, located on the Beinn Ghuilean plateau. The barley is traditionally malted on the floor at the sister distillery Springbank, then transferred to Glengyle for distillation. Finally, the whisky is aged and bottled in Campbeltown.
