Octomore 16.3 is an exceptional single malt crafted from Concerto barley, grown exclusively in the Church Field plot, located just 3 kilometers from the Bruichladdich distillery on the island of Islay. This whisky embodies a true “field-to-glass” philosophy, highlighting full control over every stage of production on Scottish soil. With an impressive phenol level of 189.5 PPM, it ranks among the most heavily peated whiskies in the world. Yet behind this smoky intensity lies remarkable aromatic depth and unexpected finesse.
The whisky was matured for 5 years in a carefully selected combination of casks: first- and second-fill bourbon barrels, as well as Sauternes and Pedro Ximénez casks, resulting in a flavour profile that is both indulgent and complex.
