MONKEY SHOULDER Fresh 40%

€34.90

Fresh Monkey is the latest innovation from the Monkey Shoulder brand. It is a Blended Grain Spirit crafted from a blend of 3 unaged malt juices. With this unique combination, master distiller Brian Kinsman has managed to capture the best of cocktail spirits: the richness of whisky, the versatility of rum, and the freshness of tequila.

Crunchy, clear, and specially designed for mixing, Fresh Monkey adds character to sunny cocktails like daiquiris and piña coladas, or can be enjoyed in a classic mojito or with cola and an orange wedge.

Gone are the complex tasting codes; Fresh Monkey is a smooth whisky that is equally enjoyable neat or in the most refined cocktails.

Nose: The liquid offers a vibrant and fruity olfactory experience, reminiscent of the aromas of a traditional confectionery: notes of fresh pear, juicy fruits, and powdered hard candies.

Palate: As for the taste, it reveals richness and fruitiness, with a subtle hint of esterified bubble gum, wrapped in a velvety texture that caresses the palate.

Finish: A slight essence of wood fire and hints reminiscent of malt blending delicately conclude this tasting experience.

THE BRAND

Monkey Shoulder is a brand of Scottish whisky whose name originates from an old distillery tradition. In the past, workers suffered from a "monkey shoulder" after stirring whisky for hours. Monkey Shoulder whisky is a blend of three renowned Speyside distilleries: Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and Kininvie. Launched in 2005 by William Grant & Sons, Monkey Shoulder is appreciated by novices and connoisseurs alike.
