Bourbon WOODFORD RESERVE Kentucky Derby 149
Woodford Reserve Bourbon, from Kentucky, distilled at Early Times, is crafted in an artisanal manner. This very special Bourbon is unique because it undergoes double maturation, aging in burnt white oak barrels, and then in new oak barrels. This unique process gives rise to a Bourbon with a beautiful amber color, with notes of honey, chocolate, apple hazelnut, which make it an excellent, unique Bourbon. Woodford Reserve is the presenting sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, and is honoring the “greatest two minutes in sports” for Secretariat's victory with the release of the 2023 Derby Commemorative Bottle. The label was designed by renowned artist James Corum known for his stunning horse portraits.

WOODFORD
Located in the heart of Kentucky, the distillery was founded in 1812 by Elijah Pepper, one of the pioneers of bourbon production in the United States. Prohibition led to the closure of the distillery, like many others. In 1996, Brown-Forman, the distiller from Louisville, decided to relaunch the brand by reconstructing the distillery on its original site while preserving its style and artisanal methods. Today, it is the smallest distillery in Kentucky but also one of the most renowned. In this legendary horse country, Woodford Reserve is the official bourbon whiskey of the two iconic horse races, the Kentucky Derby and the Breeder's Cup.
