GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Chinquapin Oak is a single malt that was first aged in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels before undergoing further maturation in Chinquapin oak barrels (Quercus Muehlenbergii), native to the north of Ozark, Missouri region, for approximately 18 months.

Bottled at 48% this exceptional whisky was not colored, nor filtered cold.

THE BRAND

In 1967, Glenallachie was the fourth distillery designed by William-Delme Evans and built by Mackinlay McPherson. In 2017 Billy walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery bringing 100 years of knowledge and expertise to the industry. The distillery’s water comes from dam heads located more than 2 miles from the distillery. As one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland, she was awarded the Scottish Distillery of the Year Award in 2019 at the Scottish Whiskey Awards.
