- New
This gift set includes a 70 cl bottle of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey along with two Green Spot glasses.
Green Spot impresses on the nose with its freshness and delicate aromas, combining barley and orchard fruits, enhanced by a hint of lightly toasted oak. On the palate, it is rich and lively, revealing spicy notes of clove and green apple, softened by the influence of the wood. The finish lingers with notes of barley and gentle spices.
Although it carries no age statement, this Irish whiskey is actually matured for between 7 and 10 years in oak casks. Its aging process involves 75% American oak barrels that previously held bourbon (first and second fill), and 25% European oak casks that contained Oloroso sherry. This combination brings elegance and aromatic depth. Its deep golden color with bright highlights reflects a profile that is spicy, lightly oaked, fruity, and touched with vanilla. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The Brand
In 1887, the Mitchell family—already established wine merchants—decided to expand their business by entering the world of whiskey maturation, using their own casks that had previously held wine, sherry, and port, in close collaboration with the Bow Street (Jameson) distillery.
Today, Green Spot is produced at the Midleton distillery in Cork. It is crafted from a combination of malted and unmalted barley, giving this exceptional Irish Pure Pot Still whiskey its distinctive and unique character.

Green Spot is a classic Irish whiskey created by the Mitchell & Son distillery in Dublin in 1805. It uses the traditional "single pot still" method, blending malt and unmalted barley. The name "Green Spot" originally referred to a barrel marking system. After nearly disappearing, the brand was relaunched in 2001 and is now recognized for its fruity, spicy flavors and unique character.
