THE BRAND
Founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, the Linkwood whiskey distillery is located in Elgin, Speyside, Scotland and has an idyllic setting. It only began producing its whiskey in 1825. Since 1992, the distillery has belonged to the Diageo group. Linkwood is part of the aristocracy of distilleries because its whiskeys are capable of aging for a long time and pair brilliantly with all types of barrels.
The bottling
The Signatory trading house is not one of the oldest in Scotland, and yet it has managed to build a very good reputation among great malt connoisseurs. It is best known for its bottlings at barrel strength and without cold filtering, thus allowing the enthusiast to taste their whiskey in the most natural state possible. It also has a distillery.
