WOLFIE'S Blended Scotch 40%
Wolfie's Blended Scotch is a Scottish whisky created by the British rock singer and songwriter Sir Rod Stewart. This achievement is the result of a partnership between the singer, his business partner Duncan Frew, and the Scottish distillery Loch Lomond.
It is the result of a meticulous combination of single malt whisky and wheat grain whisky, distilled separately before being carefully blended. After a double distillation in large copper stills, the single malt is carefully aged in freshly charred bourbon barrels. Meanwhile, column stills are used to distill the grain. The result is a whisky rich in flavors.
Nose: Reveals aromas of baked apple and oak vanilla, accentuated by subtle notes of buttery caramel, gentle spices, and delicate peat.
Palate: Swirls of cinnamon and vanilla pods harmoniously blend with poached pear, accompanied by nuances of syrupy flapjack and light smoke.
Finish: A lingering taste experience with a tangy touch of marmalade and spicy hints of orchard fruits, while the presence of charred oak and vanilla pleasantly persists in the aftertaste.
