Nose: Intense and complex, blending notes of rubber and turpentine with fresh hints of lemon, vanilla, and pineapple. A medicinal and camphoraceous palette adds to the complexity.
Appearance: A deep golden yellow color.
Palate: Lively and expansive, with freshly cut sugarcane releasing its sweetness, while squeezed lemons bring a pleasant acidity. The mid-palate offers flavors of white fruits (apple, pear) and potent spices (clove, nutmeg).
Finish: Long and concentrated, commencing with exotic notes (pineapple, kaffir lime), and licorice, followed by floral hints (geranium, iris, lily) enveloped in acacia honey. The finish is powdery, vegetal, and slightly anise-flavored.
THE BRAND
The rums in the Plantation range are sourced from the finest distilleries across the Caribbean, including Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, and Trinidad. The Plantation rum collection is divided into two distinct categories: blends and vintages. Blends are meticulously crafted by the Master Blender at Maison Ferrand. The vintages, with varying flavors from year to year, come directly from the barrel and are available in limited quantities.
