THE BOTTLER

Valinch & Mallet is an Italian independent bottler founded by Davide Romano and Fabio Ermoli. Their philosophy is the sharp selection of quality single casks. They base their choices on unchillfiltered whiskeys and rums without adding coloring. Their constant search for tailor-made products, where each piece is unique, have made them recognized and appreciated bottlers, where you know in advance that disappointment will not be there.

THE DISTILLERY

The Bunnahabhain distillery founded in 1881 by William Robertson, in partnership with Greenlees Bros, is a Scottish distillery, located north of the island of Islay. It now has the largest whiskey production capacity on the island. The construction of this distillery also triggered the construction of houses, a road and also a port to be able to transport barley and also ship whiskey. Thanks to its geographical location, in Port Askaig, near the sea, Bunnahabhain produces sweet and salty whiskies. Thanks to its equipment and its two pear-shaped stills, this magnificent Scottish distillery produces a heavy and generally lightly peated alcohol. Following the acquisition of the Burn Stewart Distillers group in 2003, Bunnahabhain has now been producing smoked and peated versions for a few years.
