Glenmorangie Palo Cortado Cask Finish is the latest addition to the Barrel Select Release range. It is the first single malt of the distillery to be finished in rather rare barrels of Palo Cortado. Indeed, after 8 years of aging in bourbon barrels, it underwent 4 years of additional aging in Palo Cortado sherry cask, very rare type of sherry. The result is quite impressive, with an elegant, delicate expression, complemented by a very attractive creaminess.

Nose: Complex, harmonious, with notes of caramel, vanilla and a touch of honey.
Taste: Balanced, with an alternation of sweet, spicy notes. the Glenmorangie weft is there and complemented by an attractive creaminess.
Finish: Persistent, elegant with a hint of hazelnut.
Glenmorangie is a Scottish distillery located in the Highlands region. In 1887, Glenmorangie Distillery Company Ltd was founded. The distillery was later bought by Macdonald & Muir in 1918. It remained the property of the Macdonald family for 90 years and was finally bought by the LVMH group in 2004.Glenmorangie is a distillery that produces single malts. The particularity of the distillery is that it is equipped with the tallest stills in Scotland. These giant stills have a direct impact on quality.
