Glenmorangie A Tale Of The Forest is the first single malt made from barley roasted with wood plants. It was used during the process of turning juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers. This whisky has been aged in ex-bourbon casks and many refilling casks. This limited edition evokes everything you can feel, hear or see in a lush forest.
The packaging of this whisky representing an imaginary forest was designed by illustrator Pomme Chan.
Nose: Rich on expressive floral notes and zest of orange, caramel.
Taste: Smooth, with toasted nuts, caramelized and a spicy touch, with clove.
Finish: Gourmet, long, pastry spices.
THE BRAND
Glenmorangie is a Scottish distillery located in the Highlands region. In 1887, Glenmorangie Distillery Company Ltd was founded. The distillery was later bought by Macdonald & Muir in 1918. It remained the property of the Macdonald family for 90 years and was finally bought by the LVMH group in 2004.Glenmorangie is a distillery that produces single malts. The particularity of the distillery is that it is equipped with the tallest stills in Scotland. These giant stills have a direct impact on quality.
