EDRADOUR 10-year-old 40%
Edradour 10-year-old is a Single Malt whiskey with a strong personality that comes from the smallest distillery in Scotland, Edradour in the Highlands.
It comes from the assembly of several barrels of Sherry Oloroso and differs from other Scottish whiskeys because of its great sweetness.
Nose: Smooth with notes of dried fruits and almonds. The whole is marked by the Oloroso sherry.
Taste: Rich and concentrated with flavors of spicy cake and honey almonds.
Finish: Long and mellow. Oaky with notes of sweet spices.
THE BRAND
The Edradour distillery is above all recognized for the unique style of its single malt which is exported throughout the world. Andrew Symington, owner of the distillery, has embarked on specific refinements that are more original than ever, and the new expressions have revolutionized the somewhat outdated image. Under the leadership of Iain Henderson, former director of Laphroaig, Edradour has been producing since late 2002 a second very peaty single malt called Ballechin from the old distillery of the region.
