DAFTMILL 2010 Winter Release B.Bros 46%
The DAFTMILL distillery is one of the most recent Scottish Lowlands distilleries, and one of the smallest founded by the 6th generation of the Cuthberts. Its traditional method of production makes this whiskey unique, produced from barley produced 100% on the family farm. This earned it the title of "single Estate Farm Distillery". In service since only 2005, only 100 barrels are produced per year and not available for 6 years.
This DAFTMILL 2010 Winter Release version obviously comes from first fill bourbon barrels, aged for more than 12 years with its vanilla and spicy notes. Its winter distillation which could be summer once again leaves us with a complex single malt with character.

DAFTMILL
Daftmill is a whisky distillery located in Cupar, in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. Founded in 2005 by brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert, the distillery is situated on the family farm of Daftmill, which has been owned by the Cuthbert family since the mid-19th century. The distillery project was born from the Cuthbert brothers' passion for whisky and their desire to create a quality whisky that honors Scottish traditions. Unlike many other distilleries that aim to maximize production, Daftmill takes a handcrafted and traditional approach, producing whisky in small batches and focusing on quality over quantity.
