Tullamore Dew 14-year-old is a triple distillation. This single malt is characterized by its rare ripening in four different barrels of oak, bourbon, oloroso sherry and Madeira. It is a generous single malt, sweet for lovers of atypical sensations.
Nose: Notes of ripe apples, sweet citrus and a touch of tropical fruits, all wrapped in a vanilla oak aroma.
Taste: Rich, mellow, spicy.
Finish: Long and sweet.
THE BRAND
The distillery was created in 1829. Under the direction of Daniel Edmund Williams it experienced a considerable development hence also the initials DEW. It is surely one of the most recognized Irish blend brands in the world. Over the years this distillery has become part of the Scottish group William Grant & Sons.
