THE BRAND
The distillery, located in northern Scotland, was founded by George Smith in 1824, becoming the first distiller to obtain an official license. During this period of history, many distilleries have tried to copy its distillation methods. George Smith distills a very smooth and complex single malt, with a very long and very long palate. It was in 1884 that he managed to get permission to call his whisky «The Glenlivet», whose name was inspired by the famous Livet Valley.
