Balblair 18-year-old is a Highland single malt with a smooth, tasty and spicy profile. A rather "autumn" whisky will say some with fruity and creamy aromas. Aged in ex-bourbon casks and matured in Spanish wine barrels, it will seduce lovers of rich and complex whiskies...
The new range of the famous Highland distillery is 18 years old. A more "autumn" expression with an aging in ex-bourbon American oak barrels then an aging in ex-oak barrels of Spanish wine first filling. If it has the characteristic features of the distillery, namely a fruity and spicy register, it has in addition a delicacy and wealth without equal with warm notes of dark chocolate and leather.
The Balblair distillery was born in 1790 in the heart of the Highlands in the Dornoch estuary, the gathering place of the Picte tribes. Distillery Timeless, BALBLAIR continues to produce whiskies with the true spirit of the Highlands, "vintage" whiskies where each bottling carries the year of distillation of the whisky.
