DALMORE 15-year-old 40%
Dalmore 15-year-old, the realisation of this whisky requires patience and know-how. With this expression, the distillery offers us what it knows how to do best, with an initial aging of 12 years in ex-American white oak barrels that have contained bourbon. Then the whisky is divided into three and placed in equal amounts in Amoroso, Oloroso and Matusalem sherry casks. This second maturation will last 3 years and will allow Dalmore 15 year to offer us a most pleasant tasting experience where finesse and structure are mixed with richness and complexity.

DALMORE
Dalmore, owners the oldest stills in the Highlands, one of them has been in operation since 1874. Different “spirit stills” are used and this unique combination makes it possible for this distillery to obtain a very balanced single malt with incredible complexity. To age their whisky, Dalmore largely uses sherry casks of a wide variety : Oloroso, Amoroso, Mathusalem (from the Gonzales Byass bodega in Andalusia). An exceptional partnership in every way. Once the whisky has reached maturity, the different types of casks are assembled to give birth to one of the expressions of their range, the final product resting for an additional period of four months in order to promote the blend and the harmony of the flavours.
