The Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or 16 Year Old is a single malt that has aged for 14 years in bourbon casks, then underwent a two-year finishing period in casks that previously held sweet white wines such as Sauternes, Monbazillac, Moscatel, and Tokaji. Nose: The lime and orange peels, along with the raisins and dates, release a generous and fruity fragrance, delicately spiced, with hints of coconut and nutmeg that add depth to the overall aroma.
Palate : Silky texture. The first sip reveals the richness and warmth of ginger, nutmeg, and toasted almonds, perfectly balanced with a hint of lemon meringue and syrupy honey.
Finish: Sweet and round, it offers a nice harmony between lemon zest and vanilla cream, all spiced up with a hint of ginger and nutmeg.

Glenmorangie is a Scottish distillery located in the Highland region. In 1887, the Glenmorangie Distillery Company Ltd was founded. The distillery was later bought by Macdonald & Muir in 1918. It remained the property of the Macdonald family for 90 years and was finally bought by the LVMH group in 2004. Glenmorangie is a distillery that produces single malts. What sets the distillery apart is that it is equipped with the tallest stills in Scotland. These giant stills have a direct impact on quality.
