DALMORE 2009 Vintage Edition 2024 48.9%
Dalmore Vintage 2009 is a 15-year-old Highland single malt, crafted with meticulous attention to every detail of its aging process. It begins by maturing in American white oak barrels that previously held bourbon, imparting vanilla and woody notes. Then, the whisky evolves in hand-selected Matusalem Sherry casks, which give it rich and fruity touches, before finishing in 10-year-old Graham's Port casks, adding red fruit aromas and additional depth.
This refined creation, the result of the finest barrels from a single year, is part of The Dalmore's limited Vintage collection. Each single malt in this series boasts exceptional balance and harmonious blending, capturing the unique essence of the year of production.

DALMORE
Dalmore, owners the oldest stills in the Highlands, one of them has been in operation since 1874. Different “spirit stills” are used and this unique combination makes it possible for this distillery to obtain a very balanced single malt with incredible complexity. To age their whisky, Dalmore largely uses sherry casks of a wide variety : Oloroso, Amoroso, Mathusalem (from the Gonzales Byass bodega in Andalusia). An exceptional partnership in every way. Once the whisky has reached maturity, the different types of casks are assembled to give birth to one of the expressions of their range, the final product resting for an additional period of four months in order to promote the blend and the harmony of the flavours.
