DRUMSHANBO Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey - Marsala Expression 43%
Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Marsala Expression marks a first in the history of the Irish distillery The Shed, as it is the first whiskey distilled in the region in over 105 years. This whiskey results from a triple distillation using both malted and unmalted Irish barley and Barra oats, providing a uniquely silky texture on the palate. Aged in Oloroso sherry and bourbon barrels, it develops a complex and spicy flavor profile, with notes of dried fruits, vanilla, pepper, as well as ripe figs and toasted oak.

THE BRAND
PJ Rigney's Shed Distillery was established in 2014 in the Connacht province of Ireland. A creator of new recipes, inventor, and traveler, PJ had dreamed of building his own distillery. He realized this dream in the wild heart of Ireland, in the village of Drumshanbo. Five high-tech copper stills were ordered from the manufacturer Arnold Holstein, three focused on Irish whiskey, two on Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, and two copper column stills for Irish vodka. As he likes to say, "the ordinary becomes extraordinary." Through gin, he narrates his travels, transforming them into an extraordinary product.
