THE BRAND
the singleton of Dufftown was born in the Speyside region, the cradle of distilling in Scotland. An old mill was converted into a malt whiskey distillery by the Dufftown-Glenlivet Distillery company in 1896. It became the property of the Diageo group. By selecting the best local source for its production, the aging choices in a high proportion of ex-Xéres oak barrels, (bringing depth and intense aromas of fruit and sweet spices) to the meticulousness of fermentation in make a rich, smooth single malt that is superb to taste.
