The La Favorite Sélection FDLC – Navigation 2024 Cuvée N°1 is the result of a collaboration between the La Favorite distillery and Les Frères de la Côte. This Martinique agricole rum was aged for 20 months in ex-Bourbon barrels from the Navarre cooperage. It then embarked on a three-month voyage aboard the Tres Hombres, a wind-powered brigantine, for dynamic aging at sea. Bottled in November 2024 at 53% ABV, this edition is limited to 550 bottles of 70cl, each accompanied by a 5cl miniature allowing a comparison of the rum before and after sea aging.

LA FAVORITE
L'Habitation La Favorite was founded in 1842 and is now one of the last two family-owned and independent distilleries in the Caribbean. In 1905, the estate was acquired by the Dormoy family, who modernized the distillery with the installation of a steam engine, still in use today. The rums from the La Favorite distillery are made from pure sugarcane juice from the estate's plantations. The 60 hectares are entirely hand-harvested, following traditional Martinican methods. Expertise, authenticity, and respect for the environment are the core values of the brand.
