FAVORITE Plaisance is a single-varietal white agricole rum from the Plaisance plot, located in Lamentin within the La Favorite distillery in Martinique. Planted with Canne Bleue and Canne Rouge, this harvest from July 2023 introduces a new aromatic profile to the brand, allowing a comparison between two varieties from the same plot. THE BRAND
La Favorite was founded in 1842, as a sugar production site. In 1905, the estate was bought by the Dormoy family, and today, the third generation continue this great family adventure. La Favorite is today one of the few independent distilleries present in the West Indies.

LA FAVORITE
L'Habitation La Favorite was founded in 1842 and is now one of the last two family-owned and independent distilleries in the Caribbean. In 1905, the estate was acquired by the Dormoy family, who modernized the distillery with the installation of a steam engine, still in use today. The rums from the La Favorite distillery are made from pure sugarcane juice from the estate's plantations. The 60 hectares are entirely hand-harvested, following traditional Martinican methods. Expertise, authenticity, and respect for the environment are the core values of the brand.
