A1710
Founded by Yves Assier de Pompignan, the A1710 distillery is located in the heart of the Habitation du Simon estate, in the municipality of Le François in Martinique. Embodying the centuries-old heritage of rum production on the island, A1710 is the first distillery to open its doors after more than a century of successive closures in Martinique. At the heart of the distillery lies La Belle Aline, a copper Charentais still equipped with seven plates. This emblematic equipment embodies the craftsmanship and traditional know-how of producing pure cane juice rum. The distinctive logo of the brand depicts a venomous serpent, reminiscent of the cane cutters who work with courage and skill among the fields of sugar cane. This symbol is associated with the letter "A", representing the craftsmanship and excellence that are at the heart of every bottle of A1710 rum. A1710 rums are renowned for their exceptional quality and distinctive character. As ambassadors of the Martinique tradition of agricultural rum, they capture the very essence of the island and invite spirit enthusiasts to discover a world of rich and authentic flavors.
