This agricultural white rum is distilled from long and fresh sugar canes, cut by hand, then transported to the Three Rolls water mill of the A1710 distillery, which is located at the Habitation du Simon in François, Martinique. The cane is crushed and pressed in one go, thus extracting its nectar, and recovering the purest and best juice.
Bête à Feu is distilled in a copper still fitted with a 7-plate column, then slowly reduced to 50.9%.

Founded by Yves Assier de Pompignan, the A1710 distillery is located in the heart of the Habitation du Simon estate, in the municipality of Le François in Martinique.
