A rapid aging process, influenced by the tropical climate of Martinique, leads to significant evaporation, allowing the creation of a fine spirit comparable to the best Cognacs or Armagnacs in just four years. This Clément VSOP agricole rum reveals an intriguing aromatic complexity. Enthusiasts will appreciate the flavor of roasted dried fruits, delicate notes of vanilla and cinnamon, as well as intensely roasted mocha. It is aged for 1 year in new Limousin oak barrels and 3 years in bourbon casks from Kentucky.
Awards: Gold medal at the Paris General Agricultural Competition and the International Rum Conference in Madrid in 2012.
Tasting Notes: Color: Amber gold.
Nose: Rich and intense, marked by aromatic notes of mocha, cocoa, candied orange, and vanilla pod.

CLÉMENT
Located in the heart of sugar cane plantations, Habitation Clément is located on the Acajou estate in Martinique since 1887. It was not until 1940 that they put their name to rum. In 1986, the family business was bought by the Bernard Hayot group and changed the direction. A true institution in Martinique, the Clément brand has managed to preserve its production traditions and the tropical aging of its rums makes it a well known in the industry and gives rise to true rum gems.
